After many years of weightlifting and martial arts training, Flo began his journey into yoga in 2015. Through his dedication from his daily personal yoga practice, Flo has found that yoga is the ideal way to build strength, improve recovery, and create body awareness and control. In 2016 he spent a few months in Rishikesh, India where he focused on his spiritual development through yoga. His personal practice until today is power vinyasa, where he focuses on strength building movements and arm balances. To balance the yin to his yang, he studied restorative yin yoga specializing in myofascial release under Jo Phee. He works full-time as an engineer in the Silicon Valley and is also a purple belt in brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Flo teaches weekly classes at YogaSource in Los Gatos, CA and travels to teach workshops and retreats together with his wife Bre. His mission is to encourage more men to step on the mat and recognize that there’s a lot more to yoga than stretching.
